We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to work in canada as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily activities due to aging, illness, injury, or disability.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, while preserving their dignity, independence, and privacy.
- Medication Management: Administer medications to clients according to prescribed dosages, schedules, and instructions, and monitor for adverse reactions or side effects, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients based on their dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions, and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, washing dishes, and changing bed linens to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for clients.
- Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through conversation, companionship, and recreational activities such as reading, listening to music, playing games, or going for walks.
- Transportation: Escort clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, social outings, and other errands, using reliable transportation and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
- Health Monitoring: Monitor clients' health and well-being, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and report any concerns or observations to family members or healthcare providers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client care activities, including daily logs, medication administration records, and incident reports, and submit documentation to supervisors or case managers as required.
- Family Communication: Communicate regularly with family members or caregivers to provide updates on clients' progress, share concerns or observations, and collaborate on care plans and goals.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or urgent situations such as falls, injuries, or sudden illnesses, and take appropriate actions to ensure clients' safety and well-being.

Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or healthcare preferred but not required; training provided.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience in providing care and support to clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting with transfers or mobility.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in CPR and first aid preferred but not required.
