We are currently seeking experienced and dependable Truck Drivers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Operation: Safely operate and drive trucks of various sizes and types, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, or flatbed trucks, depending on the specific job requirements.
  2. Load and Unload: Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
  3. Route Planning: Plan and follow designated routes using GPS navigation systems or maps, and adjust routes as needed to avoid traffic congestion or road closures.
  4. Delivery and Pickup: Deliver goods to customers or designated locations according to schedules and delivery instructions, and assist with loading and unloading at delivery sites as needed.
  5. Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery/pickup times, and cargo details for accounting and reporting purposes.
  6. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks, including checking fluids, tires, brakes, and lights, and report any mechanical issues to supervisors for repair.
  7. Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, hours of service regulations, and load securement requirements.
  8. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers, including communicating delivery status updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  9. Safety Measures: Ensure the safety of cargo, vehicles, and yourself by following proper loading and securing procedures, wearing seat belts, and practicing safe driving habits at all times.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in long-haul or regional transportation.
  • Knowledge of trucking regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently in various weather and road conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to sit for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented attitude.
